Hello there, I am Ruby Josephine. Welcome to my little corner of the world.

Nothing about me is something you can put in a box, and therefore neither is this blog. It is not just a food blog. It’s not just a travel log. I hate the phrase “lifestyle blog” and I’m here for more than just the photos. This blog is simply a record of things I make, things I eat and things that I think and do. I don’t expect it to be incredibly profound and world-shattering all the time, or ever. But it’s all me. Me, wanting to share my food, my journeys, my life, with you.

I dropped out of University two years ago to travel. I spent nine months backpacking around Europe and Northern Africa, visiting nine different countries, developing a strong addiction to exploring the unknown and a ferocious sense of independence. I went home for a short period of time, lost my mind, decided I had to go again.

Now I am based in Tangier, Morocco where I am teaching modern dance classes, choreographing for live performances & video, and baking/fighting with my oven on a regular basis. I cook using all fresh and local ingredients from the amazing markets around here- sometimes vegan, mostly healthy, and always delicious. In my spare time I explore the city and read about where I want to go next…
